All sections of the society can be top citizens

The head of the program, budget and finance Commission of the Islamic Council of Hamadan said: “participation is a component of citizenship and every person who well done his citizenship duty is an exemplary citizen, perhaps a sweeper or a doctor.”
Hamid Badami Nejat in the special program of the Festival of Top Citizens, referring to the selection of top citizens regardless of their job and social status, said: in selecting citizens, the sample judges, regardless of their social status, examine their selected job. Inviting young people, urban management activists, elites and students to participate in this festival, he said: “top citizens are the model of society and benefiting from their experience and power in citizenship training programs and goals is important.” Member of the policy council of the Festival of Top Citizen continued: the purpose of this festival is to introduce prominent models in various cultural and social fields of Hamedan, while honorary citizens who are not of Hamedan origin but are among the honors of this city will also be honored.
Badami continued: “honoring the citizens is the inherent duty of the municipality, which will be held in a glorious way by the city council and the municipality in the form top citizen festivals.” He stated that the winners of the citizenship festivals are in fact the selected ones and the behavioral patterns of other citizens: in the field of urban management, the more the number of top citizens, the better the urban affairs would be managed.
